Privacy policy

This policy covers insidewalk.app and the sample tours at tours.insidewalk.app. We collect as little as we can: only what you send us yourself.

What we collect

When you request a sample, the form sends us your name, your work email and your company. When you email us, we get your message, your address and any floor plans you attach. The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and shows no ads. The tours remember your viewing settings (such as metric or imperial units) in your browser’s own storage; they never leave your device.

Like any web server, our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Why we use it

Only to answer your request: to prepare your sample unit, send it to you and discuss a project with you. The legal basis is the steps you asked us to take before a possible contract and our legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries (GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and (f)). We never sell your data or add you to a mailing list.

Who processes it

• Cloudflare hosts the site and the tours.
• Resend delivers what you type into the form to our inbox.
• Our email provider stores the messages we exchange.

Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area; they do so under the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and the plans you send are kept for up to 24 months after our last conversation, then deleted, unless they become part of a contract, which we keep for as long as the law requires. The floor plans you send are used only to build your sample.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to our use of it, at any time: write tohello@insidewalk.app. We reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your data protection authority.

If this policy changes, the new version is published here with its date.
